TENANT’S GUIDE

What does renting a property through Ian Antony & Co involve?


1. Search our listings
Firstly check out the properties we have available. Click the 'property search' button to look at the property page and then contact us to arrange a viewing. If there isn’t a property that suits your needs please call us anyway, as we have new properties coming in daily.

2. The next step
If having viewed the property, you wish to proceed further we would ask you to pay our Credit Check/Admin fees which are £100.00 for the first adult in the property and £75.00 for every subsequent adult (there is no charge for children up to the age of 16 or people in full time education up to the age of 22). Upon receipt of this fee, the property will effectively be off the market & ‘Let Subject to Contract’. You will then complete the application form which asks for information to enable the usual reference checks to be carried out. We believe these fees to be the lowest within the local area!

3. The Tenancy
The minimum term for a tenancy agreement is six months under an Assured Shorthold Tenancy, all rents are paid calendar monthly in advance and are exclusive of council tax, water charges, gas, electricity and telephone charges.

4. The Deposit
The deposit is usually the same as one months rent. This will be taken in advance and then protected by Tenancy Deposit Solutions Ltd.
